    J1 (Jag Rehsi) is an Indian born Punjabi rapper and music producer of Sikh descent. He was brought up in South-B in Nairobi. Initially a lyricist, he performed for the first time on stage as a rapper in 2007. Since then he has performed at various clubs, universities/colleges and Indo-global events with various local artists. He rapidly gained popularity with the release of his single 'Munde Punjabi'.

     J1 creates his own Instrumentals and is currently associated with Beatnature entertainment. His lyrics are mostly about Punjab from the point of view of the youth and what happens in the cities.
